Tejon Ranch

Arvin, CA

Tejon Ranch is the largest expanse of private land in California. It’s a working ranch, raising cattle and crops. But mostly, our mountains, valleys, canyons and high desert country — yes, it’s that big — lie untouched. And as we open our gates to thoughtful development, we’ll keep most of it exactly as it is. Forever.

F.A.Q.

Got questions? We've got answers.

What is this purpose of this website?
At Ranch Finder, our mission is to reconnect you with the heart of agriculture. Inspired by the authenticity and directness portrayed in 'Yellowstone', we aim to bridge the gap between consumers and the origins of their food. Our directory serves as a vital link, enabling you to directly engage with farmers and ranchers who are the stewards of our land and livestock.

By facilitating direct purchases from these dedicated producers, we promote sustainable agriculture, transparency in food sourcing, and foster a deeper appreciation for where our nourishment comes from. Join us in our journey to cultivate a closer, more personal relationship with the food on your table.

Buy Local. Eat Local. Support Local.
Why did you start this website?
It is something I made in my spare time out of passion for high quality foods. I had recently moved cities and realized that I don't know any local butchers or farms. Growing up my parents had often bought meat directly from local farms and the quality was unmatched with most of what you find in the grocery stores.

In a world where many people are constantly moving and it is hard to find stuff, I hope this directory can help people find high quality meat such as grass fed, pasture raised cows. We also support the religious communities by making it easier to search for things like Halal meat, hand slaughtered, self slaughter (qurbani), and Kosher.

We started this site to help Muslims find halal sources of food.
Is this website free to use?
Yes! It is absolutely free and community driven.
If you found value and would like to support the hosting of this website please buy me a coffee!
How can I contribute?
You can submit new farms and ranches using our form here. This is a community driven page to help evangelize healthy, local eating, and knowing where your food comes from.

We also appreciate tips for keeping this site alive.
Do I have to be the owner to add a farm or ranch here?
No, this is a community led project to help share information with others who want to live a healthy lifestyle or have religious specifications for the kind of meat they can eat.
Can I add multiple locations?
Yes! If you have a large list you can email it to us in an Excel or CSV file and we can bulk upload them for you. Thank you for your contirbutions!
